Gilbert Burns recently expressed his desire to compete in Miami at UFC 314. Speaking at a Karate Combat event, Burns revealed that although his contract is not yet signed, he is hopeful that his next fight will take place in Miami.

During the event, Burns also discussed the possibility of participating in Karate Combat's Pit Submission Series. This comes after Aljamain Sterling made an appearance in the Pit Submission Series back in July of last year.

Burns, a high-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, has an impressive track record. He secured a gold medal at the 2011 World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championships. With such credentials, the idea of him competing in the Pit Submission Series is certainly feasible.
